Quarter Midget Racing Invades The VBC

Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) – Quarter Midget Racing is alive and well in the Rocket City.

Before this year’s Monster Jams Trucks event at the VBC, 5-16 year old drivers got into these tiny one-cylinder vehicles and raced around a 1/20 of a mile track for 40 laps.

The winner of the first race of the day is Scottsboro’s Blake Welch.
