Madison Police Department Says Farewell to K-9 Partner Gunny

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) – Madison Police Department announced the death of their k-9 partner named Gunny.

Gunny served for four years with the Madison Police Department. Gunny was recently retired after being diagnosed with kidney failure that ultimately took his life. After retirement, gunny lived with his long-time partner officer Jason Bolden.

Gunny significantly contributed to the resolution of numerous cases, including the seizure of illegal drugs and money related to the sale and distribution of illegal drugs.
