Married Couple, Nephew Die In House Fire In Lauderdale County
LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office says investigators found the bodies of three people in a burned home in the Central community.
Family members say the victims were Sandy Brewer, 68, her husband, Bobby Brewer, 67, and their nephew, Bradley Adams, 36.
One person was found near the back door, another in a bathroom and a third near the kitchen.
Someone called 911 to report the fire at 2:56 a.m. The home is on County Road 81, just south of Highway 20. The structure caved in.
Investigators say preliminary indications are that the fire started in or near the kitchen, but they’re checking further. They’re not sure what caused it yet.
The state fire marshal’s office is at the home, as well as the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office.
Morrison Funeral Home in Central Heights will handle arrangements.
