MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT)–Tuesday, the 12th day of March, marks the 20th anniversary of the start of the Blizzard of 1993. Meteorologists called it “The Storm of the Century,” because of its power and size. It dumped more than a foot of snow in many of areas of North Alabama.
In the days that followed the storm, a news crew from WHNT News 19 visited the Folsoms in Marshall County. 20 years later we caught up with them. Below you’ll see the story where we interviewed them in 2013 and below that, our original story from 1993.
