Florence Man Indicted On Rape Charge

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – A Lauderdale County grand jury has indicted a Florence man for rape.

Court records show 26-year-old Cedric Lee Taylor will face trial for first-degree rape.

According to Florence Police, Taylor allegedly raped a 25-year-old woman during a party at Taylor’s home in August.

Detectives say the woman reported going to the bathroom when Taylor walked in and raped her.
