UAH and UNA may be responding to the NCAA Tournament Selection Show in completely different ways.

The Chargers already knew they were going dancing.  They were ranked second in the final South Region poll before the GSC Tournament.  But a loss in the semifinal game, coupled with top-ranked Florida Southern winning its league, means UAH earned the two-seed in the South Region and will play on the road for the first three rounds.

"Well you need to have a short memory," said Lennie Acuff, UAH head coach.  "It's over with, it's time to move on.  We talk about making the next play, well it's time to play the next game.  That's mentality we need to have and now we're excited to go play."

UNA was hovering around a number-seven ranking in the last poll but lost its first GSC Tournament game.  Fortunately for the Lions, they are the eight-seed and will face host school Florida Southern in the first round.
