Tinker And Shelley Visit The Rocket City
Huntsville, Ala. (WHNT) – Alabama will be holding its annual Pro Day Wednesday. Among those who are scheduled to attend include former kicker Jeremy Shelley and former longsnapper Carson Tinker.
Before the big day, they came to the Rocket City to sign autographs for their adoring fans. Both guys say they didn’t dream of playing in the NFL when they were young kids, but now they’re looking forward to what might lie ahead.
“It’s a new dream for me,” said Jeremy Shelley. ”I didn’t play a whole lot of football until high school. And so didn’t think this was going to be a big option of mine but now it’s become a huge dream of mine.”
“It’s every kid’s dream of playing in the NFL,” said Carson Tinker. ”I remember playing football in the front yard before I even knew what longsnapping was. I never thought I’d play in the NFL but now I kinda have a unique opportunity.”
