Visit ‘The Whimsical Woods’ at Burritt on the Mountain
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – You’re invited to see a special new addition at Burritt on the Mountain. Come experience The Whimsical Woods!
Join Felicity the Fairy and Will the Woodsman in their quest for a hero. The Whimsical Woods are filled with characters from nursery rhymes, Grimm’s Fairy Tales and other classic stories of the 1800s.
Ride Huck Finn’s river raft, climb in the Swiss Family Robinson’s treehouse and see if you have what it takes to pull a sword from a stone!
When you enter The Whimsical Woods you’ll receive a map of places to visit including the home of The Three Bears, the Seven Dwarfs’ mining sluice and the Troll’s Bridge from Billy Goats Gruff. Complete your tasks and YOU can be a hero, too!
The Whimsical Woods are open now through the end of August.
Visit Burritt on the Mountain’s website to learn more about The Whimsical Woods. You can also visit the Fan Page and email a question to Will or Felicity!
There are special sections for Grown-Ups, too. Parents can learn about Birthday Parties and Teachers can learn about Field Trips.
