Former Bulldogs Work Out at Pro Day
Scouts from four different NFL teams made the trip to Alabama A&M for the school’s annual Pro Day. Jamaal Johnson-Webb made history by becoming the first Bulldog ever invited to the NFL combine earlier in the month, but 18 former A&M players worked on Wednesday.
Jon-Eric Sullivan is a regional scout for the Green bay Packers, “It’s always a good chance for those guys to get a chance to be seen by the National Football League. They work hard all year long and the seniors deserve this.”
Former Bulldogs running back Kaderius Lacey was one of the players braving the 40 degree temps for his shot at the next level, “It feels great to come out here and perform in front of the scouts, you know playing at the next level is one of the most important things to me growing up and I believe I’m on the right path to do that.”
The NFL draft will begin on Thursday April 25th
