White House Postpones Alabama BCS Championship Team’s Visit

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WHNT) – The White House has postponed a visit by Alabama’s BCS Championship team, which was scheduled for Wednesday, March 6.

There is expected inclement weather, and the visit will be scheduled for a later date, the White House said.

President Barack Obama welcomed the Crimson Tide after last year’s victory.  The players presented him with a special jersey.
