Showers and storms are continuing to quickly track east-northeast across the Tennessee Valley at about 55-65 mph, as a cold front moves through. Some of the stronger storms may be capable of strong wind gusts of 35-40 mph and small hail, with a very low chance of any storms reaching severe limits.
Expect the chance for any more strong storms to be gone mainly by 1:30 – 2:00 pm as this line continues to rapidly move east and should be in Georgia by around that time. Light to moderate showers will linger behind the front through much of the afternoon.
Small hail has been the main story with storms today. See several of your pictures on WHNT.com.
