Tide Basketball Falls at Ole Miss
OXFORD, Miss. - After trailing by as many as 18 points in the second half, the Alabama men’s basketball team mounted a furious comeback against the Mississippi Rebels Tuesday night cutting the lead to three before falling, 87-83 as time expired in Oxford. The Crimson Tide was led by junior guard Trevor Releford, led the way with 19 points while sophomore forward Nick Jacobs added a career-high 18 to the Tide’s total. Alabama goes to 19-11 on the year and 11-6 in Southeastern Conference play.
The Tide closes out the regular season at home against the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday, March 9 at 3 p.m. CT in Coleman Coliseum. The game will be televised by the SEC Network and the radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
