Rocket City United Releases 2013 Schedule
Madison, Ala. – The 2013 RCU schedule has been released and it’s looking to be an exciting season! For starters, RCU will return to John Hunt Park, home field to the 2009 South Region Championship season. On May 11th it all starts as RCU kicks off their season away at Chattanooga FC. Just 6 days later, RCU will start their home season against the Knoxville Force. The schedule features 4 Friday night games and 1 Wednesday night game.
The South region is welcoming 2 new teams, the New Orleans Jesters who are coming from the PDL and the Gulfcoast Texans whose women’s side won the WPSL last season. They will join returning teams: Knoxville, Mississippi, RCU and Chattanooga who lost in the national final 1-0 to FC Sonic.
