The Systems and Technology Solutions Business Unit currently has an opening for a Project Control Analyst II to work out at Redstone Arsenal. This is an excellent opportunity for the right, highly-motivated, career-minded candidate.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Supports all Project Control functions, interfacing with members of Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, and Accounts Receivable. Activities include planning, tracking, variance analysis, and reporting with limited supervision on a large, complex T&M contract.
Maintain program budgets, monitor actual costs and commitments, administer subcontractor efforts, and produce financial deliverables as required per contract for both internal and external use.
Work closely with Procurement and Management to oversee the funding, reporting, and invoicing activities of subcontractors to accurately support the monthly subcontractor accrual process. Prepare subcontractor funding documents after modification entry and request Purchase Requisition entry. Perform invoice review for errors and perform necessary corrections.
Prepare delivery order pricing inputs and ROMs. Produce realignment request documents and submit for approval. Verify modification entries are properly enter into program and company systems, reconcile any differences.
Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude are required. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and 2+ years experience. (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.)
REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particular strength in MS Excel. Strong analytical skills and able to handle multiple task/projects. Experience in project control or similar experience (i.e. business mgmt, business admin, finance and accounting). Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
DESIRED SKILLS: Familiarity with MORADO+, Hyperion, CostPoint, Cognos and project management tools.
