Thadeus Michael Porter of Boaz for Possession of Child Pornography
Boaz, Ala. (WHNT) – Thadeus Michael Porter, 23, of Boaz has been arrested for Possession of Child Pornography.
Porter was originally arrested Wednesday by Boaz Police for 2nd degree Possession of Marijuana while police were attempting to serve a warrant for the Blount County District Attorneys Office.
During the investigation, officers got information that Porter had images of child pornography on his cell phone of children between the ages of 9 and 16 years old. Images were also found on his laptop.
Porter is currently booked in the Boaz City Jail on the marijuana charges and will be transferred to the Marshall County Jail where bond is set at $1 million.
