Schools Collecting Old Phone Books For Recycling Contest
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – If you happen to have an old phone book sitting around collecting dust, we have a solution. All Huntsville City, Madison City, and Madison County Schools are holding a phone book recycling contest.
Take your old phone books to your nearby school. The five schools that collect the most phone books will split $3,000 in prize money.
Operation Green Team announced the contest Tuesday at Weatherly Heights Elementary in Huntsville. The school won the contest last year.
You can turn in your old phone books through April.
