Brewer Falls In State Semifinal Game

Birmingham, Ala. (WHNT) – For the third-straight year, the Brewer Lady Patriots are in the Final 48.  For the second-straight time, they’re taking on Faith Academy in the state semifinals.

But unlike last year, Brewer comes up short, losing 59-43.

Though the Lady Patriots led by two after the first quarter, they scored just four points in the third quarter and got outscored in the final three frames 44-26.  Center Riley Northway led the Lady Patriots with 20 points and 14 rebounds, but no other Brewer player finished in double-figures.

Brewer finishes the season with a 32-2 record.
