Serve as a program manager to lead a team of four analysts conducting a variety of independent assessments that will support an Army Aviation client’s orderly and timely progression of programs through the acquisition processes. Produce assessments of the subject issue or topic assigned and recommendations or recommended courses of action to resolve the issues raised for assessment. Support program support reviews, assessments of operational test readiness, independent cost estimates, and technology readiness assessments consistent with statutory requirements, policy, and good management practices. Interact routinely and conduct formal interviews with superior and subordinate government product and project managers and their staff, including program executive officers, G8, and ASAALT. Provide additional support and access to independent assessments to an overarching integrated product team that can provide additional program perspectives and facilitate full and open discussion of assigned issues. Provide assessments to senior acquisition officials for use in acquisition decisions. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

-3+ years of experience with operational Army aviation
-Experience with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Demonstration System
-Knowledge of DoD 5000 series
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
-3+ years of experience with unmanned aircraft systems
-3+ years of experience with Army aviation acquisition
-BA or BS degree in Business or Systems Engineering preferred
