Update: Westlawn Middle Asst. Principal Cleared Of DUI Charge

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A Huntsville City School employee has been cleared of a DUI charge.

Collas Eugene Washington, 33, had been arrested for DUI on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3. He is an assistant principal at Westlawn Middle School.

Keith Ward, a spokesperson for Huntsville City Schools, said further investigation of the case showed Washington was not driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of his arrest. This, according to a report Friday in The Huntsville Times/al.com.
