MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - Highway 36 is clear again near Hartselle following a mishap involving an 18-wheeler.

Earlier Friday morning, a driver ate breakfast at Smoky Holler Cafe near Tapscott Road.  He left around 6 a.m. and tried to pull out onto the road.  His trailer slid into a ditch and three large steel coil rolls fell off the trailer bed, blocking traffic for a few hours.

Wreckers came in to upright the trailer, and loaded the coils back onto it.  The road was clear by approximately 9 a.m.

The driver was not hurt.
