Tip Leads To Robbery Arrest

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police have arrested a Colbert County man who they believe robbed a convenience store two weeks ago.

According to investigators, 27-year-old Justin Daniel Murphy was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with first degree robbery.

Murphy is accused of robbing D&D Market on Alabama 20 at knife-point.

Investigators say the robbery happened on January 25.

Sheffield Police are also looking at Justin Murphy as a suspect in the armed robbery of Sheffield Tobacco and Deli just three days later.
