Meth continues to be a problem in the Tennessee Valley. In this case, authorities had a warrant for one person in Morgan County, but ended up arresting three people.

It happened on Rolfe Road in the Cotaco/Valhermoso Springs community. According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were planning to execute a warrant on Tony Collins around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Collins was not found. But an apparent meth operation was found.

Donald Long, Gerald Massey and Mary Joann Rivas were arrested after authorities smelled a strong chemical odor at the residence.

According to authorities, Long was already on probation. And Rivas was out on bond after being arrested on meth charges in Huntsville.

Deputies found three meth labs, plus the chemicals and equipment used to make meth, in the apartment.
