Shoals Man Indicted For Sexual Abuse

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (WHNT) – A Muscle Shoals man has been indicted for allegedly sexually abusing two young girls.

According to court records, 66-year-old Harold Edward McCormick has been indicted on two counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.

The Alabama Bureau of Investigation launched an investigation of McCormick in June of 2012.

Authorities say McCormick inappropriately touched a 2-year-old girl and her older sister while they were visiting his home.

Harold McCormick is out of jail on bond at this time.
