Mail Inspectors, STAC Team Confiscate 43 Lbs. Of Marijuana

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – Local drug agents seized more than 43 pounds of marijuana recently sent through the U.S. mail. Mail inspectors helped with the bust, and so did a very important dog.
Sadie, a STAC K-9, sniffed out numerous packages that contained the drugs. The joint effort took place over three days: January 16-18.Agents say arrests could follow. The Madison-Morgan HIDTA Task Force (STAC) continues to investigate the case with U.S. postal inspectors, and will also look for future shipments of illegal drugs.
