Johnathan Ford Decommits From Vanderbilt
New Hope, Ala. (WHNT) – For several months, New Hope running back Johnathan Ford was a strong verbal commitment for Vanderbilt. However, he continued to have conversations with other head coaches and visit other schools. Those trips have done enough to get Ford to reconsider.
His high school coach tells WHNT News 19 Ford has decommitted from Vanderbilt. His final four options are: Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida State. Coach Randall Taylor says Ford may make two final trips to Athens and Tallahassee, but if he doesn’t, he’ll like nix those schools and decide between Auburn and Tennessee.
