HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)– One week away from the start of the 2013 legislative session and the Madison County State Legislative Delegation public form brought out dozens of residents with even more issues they want fixed.
On the official sign in sheet more than 40 people signed up to speak. Each person was limited to three minutes each. Topics ranged from a group supporting new mid wife laws, to a Harvest man who wants lawmakers to get tough on requirement for private investigators in the state.
The majority of people who attended the forum were there to talk about the proposed gravel quarry in Madison County.
The legislative delegation said they were eager to hear concerns and bring those back to Montgomery with them for this session.
