Huntsville Murder Suspect Caught In Minnesota

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police say a man wanted in a recent murder investigation is in custody several states away.

Laron Lamont Lukes, 39, was caught Thursday in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  Huntsville Police worked with the U.S. Marshals Task Force and St. Cloud local law enforcement to arrest him.  His girlfriend was arrested too.  Both were at her mother’s house.

Lukes is charged with the murder of Pedro Love, 33, who was shot in the 300 block of Mastin Lake Way in Huntsville on November 13, 2012.

Police are working to bring Lukes back to Huntsville.
