Colbert County Deputy Injured In Crash
CHEROKEE, Ala. (WHNT) – A Colbert County sheriff’s deputy was injured in a crash Wednesday night while responding to a call.
Sheriff Ronnie May says the deputy was responding to a call of a fight on White Pike, south of Cherokee. He made the turn onto White Pike from Rickard Cut-Off Road and lost control, going off the road and flipping his patrol car. This was just before 10 p.m.
Sheriff May says the deputy was taken to Helen Keller Hospital and was later released. He doesn’t have serious injuries.
Alabama State Troopers are investigating the wreck.
