Elora Man Burned In Explosion At Home

ELORA, Tenn. (WHNT) – An explosion at a home in Elora, Tennessee left a man with severe burns Monday afternoon.

It happened just after 4:00 p.m. when there was a small explosion near a wood burning stove.

The man suffered severe burns from the waist up.  First Responders say 30 percent of the man’s body is burned.

He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
