Chili Cookoff Raises $1,300 For Child Abuse Prevention

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – 17 teams battled to win the title of ‘Best Chili in Madison County’ on November 17, 2012 at the National Children’s Advocacy Center campus in Leadership Huntsville/Madison County Connect Alumni Association’s 3rd Annual Rocket City Chili Cook-Off.

The teams also battled to raise money and awareness for the work of the NCAC and the Connect ALL Scholarship. The NCAC promotes excellence in child abuse response and prevention. The Connect ALL Scholarship sponsors one young leader through Leadership Huntsville/Madison County’s Connect program for young professionals.

Over $1,300 raised for child abuse and will be presented at the NCAC Office on Tuesday, January 22.
