Police Respond to Shooting in Madison

Madison Police responded to a shooting in progress in the 800-block of Crestview Drive, just north of Madison Pike.

When police arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. A woman was taken in for questioning.

Police secured a 9mm handgun from the scene. They say they believe the shooting may have been a domestic situation.

The victim was taken to Huntsville Hospital in serious condition. Police are investigating.
