Ice Brings Trees Down In Limestone And Morgan Counties

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – A number of trees had to be cleared from roadways in Limestone and Morgan Counties Monday night.

Members of the Pleasant Grove Volunteer Fire Department responded to calls of a tree down on Barker Road around 8:30 P.M. A front end loader was called in to assist with moving the tree off the roadway after fire fighters used a chain saw to cut the leaning tree down.

In Morgan County, crews were called out to fallen trees on Friendship Road, Buck Road, Rescue Road and Pleasant Valley Road.
