Flood Warning Issued For Flint River At Brownsboro

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - The rain continues, and several creeks and rivers are high.  The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning in Madison County for the Flint River at Brownsboro through Wednesday morning.

At 12 p.m. Monday the stage was 13.5 feet and rising.  Flood stage is 17.0 feet. 

The river is forecast to rise to flood stage by early Wednesday morning, potentially causing minor flooding.

The Flint River crested at 17.4 feet on April 5, 2011, causing flooding.
