Plenty of men and women like to enjoy a glass of wine or two after work, or throw back a beer or several with buddies during the game.
Unfortunately, over time, those drinks can really add up and take a toll on your physical appearance. The Scottish government has launched a new campaign that encourages women in particular to rethink the effects of drinking above the recommended levels.
At the center of that awareness effort is a new mobile app called Drinking Mirror - where users can upload photos of themselves, enter some information about their drinking habits, and see how their faces will likely transform over ten years. They can also share the results via Facebook with others.
As WHNT News 19 morning anchor and technology reporter Michelle Stark found out when she tested the app – the results aren’t pretty. Her before and after pictures are below. Note the red-splotches and wrinkles!
The app is currently available only for Android-powered devices, although CNN reports an iPhone version will be out shortly. A web version is also available.
