HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - A patient ran from Huntsville Hospital on Friday morning, dressed only in a gown.

Terrence Rogers was caught near the Huntsville/Madison County Library about 10:30 a.m.  Police handcuffed him near the drop box.  HEMSI paramedics then put him in an ambulance to take him back to the hospital.

Police say Rogers is one of the men shot at Crossroads Music Hall earlier this week.  He was in the hospital recovering from surgery for his gunshot wounds.

Huntsville Police spokesperson Harry Hobbs said Rogers has several warrants for his arrest, and officers were trying to serve warrants.  Rogers learned of this and ran.

Rogers is now charged with the following:

  • Shooting into an occupied vehicle
  • Obstruction of justice, due to using a false ID
  • Resisting arrest
