MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Several fire departments worked Friday afternoon to put out a fire at a home in Grant.

Fire departments from Grant, Swearingen, Hebron, and Waterfront responded around 1:50 p.m. to a home in the 2800 block of Columbus City Road.  There was initially concern that someone may have been trapped, but it was later determined that the home was not occupied.
