Fire Damages Home in Grant
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Several fire departments worked Friday afternoon to put out a fire at a home in Grant.
Fire departments from Grant, Swearingen, Hebron, and Waterfront responded around 1:50 p.m. to a home in the 2800 block of Columbus City Road. There was initially concern that someone may have been trapped, but it was later determined that the home was not occupied.
The cause is under investigation. It is believed that the fire started in the back of the home.
