Featured Job: Structural Fabricator II

STRUCTURAL FABRICATOR II – Local DOD contractor is hiring.  Lay outs, fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts. Read and interprets blueprints and sketches.

Types of sheet metals such as galvanized iron, copper, steel, aluminum and nonmetallic materials such as plastics or fiberglass.  Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls and routers, cut, bend, block and form or straighten materials. Trim, file, de-burr and smooth surfaces.  Inspect assemblies and install inner assemblies to specifications on blueprints.  Repair and maintain sheet metal products.  Must have good mathematical skills in geometry and trigonometry.  Lift 50 lbs., Must be able to obtain a SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE. HS Grad/GED, 2 – 5 yrs experience.
