Miami Gardens, Fla. (WHNT) – When A.J. McCarron decided to return to Alabama for his senior season, he also decided to take on the challenge of winning a third-straight national championship.
It seems like some of his best games are when the stakes are the highest. In the title game against LSU, McCarron threw for 234 yards, his third-highest total that season. He also didn’t record an interception.
Against Notre Dame, McCarron tied a career-high for most touchdowns in one game with four. His competitive nature and desire to get better is why Saban says McCarron could be the best quarterback in college football next season.
