Slick Roads Lead To Several Wrecks Tuesday Morning

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Police and paramedics worked a number of wrecks across the Tennessee Valley on Tuesday morning due to slick roads.

These were some of the problem areas:

  • I-565 and Research Park Blvd. at the overpass – vehicle accident
  • Memorial Parkway (northbound) at University Drive – vehicle accident
  • Wreck on eastbound side of Memorial Parkway at the westbound entrance from I-565, which is creating a big backup
  • Lacey’s Spring, at Highway 231 South at Northeast Seals Road – 1 person seriously hurt in accident
  • Highway 431 South at Caldwell Lane – rollover accident
  • Highway 53 at Coggins Road – 2 car wreck
  • Highway 53 and Kelly Springs – 2 vehicles – no injuries
  • Winchester Highway and Old Mountain Fork Road – 2 vehicle wreck – no injuries
  • Winchester Road and County Lake Road – wreck
  • Butler Road in New Market – car hit a mailbox; wreck causing blockage
  • Highway 72 and East Limestone Road – 1 car involved in wreck
