UPDATE: Huntsville Police Investigating Regions Bank Robbery

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Huntsville Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Regions Bank at 509 Drake Avenue.

It happened around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.   According to police, a male suspect walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money.

It is unclear at this time if the man was armed.

Police have called the search off at this time.  Officers say that K-9 units lost the scent of the suspect.

They believe the suspect got into a vehicle and fled the scene. Huntsville Police released this picture of the man believed to be responsible.
