HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A pizza delivery man had a rough night in the Rocket City, after finding himself looking down the end of a gun on a delivery run.
Huntsville Police say the delivery person told them around 9 p.m. Tuesday night, he was taking pizza to an address on East Helena Drive when four men approached him.
The delivery person said the men attacked him and pulled out a gun and took the pizza and money from him. He was able to get free and rushed back to his store on Mastin Lake Road, where he called police.
When officers went to investigate, they found the address he gave was a vacant house and they couldn’t find the offenders.
Police say the man experienced chest pains. He was taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment for injuries, which also included wounds to his face and a concussion.
