Huntsville Welcomes New Year’s First Births

HUNTSVILLE, Ala (WHNT)– The first baby born in Huntsville in 2013 came into the world at 7:11 am at Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children.

Aria Cowart weighed 7 pound 2 ounces. Her parents Elisabeth Robbins and Jacob Cowart  from Decatur. They say Aria is healthy and has spent most of the day sleeping.

The first boy born in 2013 in Huntsville was Eli Daniel Borthwick, born at 9:30 am at Crestwood Medical Center.
