UPDATE: Bank Independent in Decatur Robbed

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – Police tell us that around 8:00 this evening a white male walked up to the drive-thru at the Bank Independent on Highway 31 in Decatur and demanded money.

The teller cooperated, and the man ran away.

He was last seen running south from bank.

Some of the money was recovered.
