Big Spring Christmas Music Helping People Heal
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Sunday as people skated at the ice rink and walked along the Tinsel Trail in Big Spring Park they could hear some very special music.
The music was provided by a former Lee High School student who is back home for Christmas from college. She and her friends decided the best way to help spread the holiday cheer this year was to set up their musical equipment in the park and play Christmas music.
“So many bad things have happened recently we just wanted to do something special for the people here in the park this holiday,” Patricia Cooney told WHNT News 19.
For the people who visited Tinsel Trail Sunday the live music was a nice distraction.
