Havoc Shakes Up Roster
Huntsville, Ala. - Huntsville Havoc head coach Glenn Detulleo decided that is was time for a change as they waived captain Mike MacDonald and forward Andrew Harrison while signing forwards Brett Liscomb and Cody Crichton.
“We appreciate everything that Mike has done as a member of the Havoc, but we felt like a change was needed,” Detulleo said. “Brett has had great success in this league and as member of the Havoc organization and Cody comes well recommended. We are looking for both of those guys to come in and bring some energy and offense to our team.”
MacDonald has been a fixture in the Havoc lineup since the 2009-10 season. He played in 184 regular season games, scoring 58 goals and adding 89 assists. He also played in 15 playoffs, where he netted eight goals and added five assists. He is tied for third in Havoc history in games played (184), fifth in goals scored (58), fifth in assists (89) and fourth in points (149).
Liscomb has played in 123 career games and scored 41 goals and added 62 assists. He played in 10 games for the Havoc at the end of the 2009-10 season and help the team claim the President’s Cup Championship. He scored six goals and recorded seven assists in those 10 games then went on to score five goals and recorded one assist in the playoffs.
Crichton played in two games earlier this season for the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL. He spent four seasons at Robert Morris from 2008-12, where he scored 15 goals and added 38 assists in 113 games.
Harrison had played in seven games for the Havoc and scored one goal.
The Havoc will hit the road Friday to take the Augusta RiverHawks before returning to Breland Homes Ice on Saturday night at 7:30 to take on the Mississippi RiverHawks.
