Shoals Area Crime Stoppers: Thieves Stuff Clothes In Shopping Bag

FLORENCE, Ala. (WHNT) - Police say a couple started stuffing clothes from Belk into a shopping bag at the Regency Square Mall in Florence, then casually walked out of the store.

However, loss prevention officers had been tracking the man and woman on surveillance cameras and investigators say a security guard stopped the man in the parking lot.

Officers recovered the stolen items, worth more than $1,400. However investigators say, while the officer escorted the man back inside, the woman interfered and they both got away.

Deputies are on the lookout for Anna Comeens for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Next, officials say Kirnes McCarley had his probation revoked and the sheriff wants McCarley back in the Franklin County Jail.

And finally, Jessica Speakman is wanted on a slew of drug charges, including manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and committing a controlled substance crime.
