MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) - Madison Police have arrested a 22-year-old man for several break-ins that happened recently in the parking lot of the YMCA, off Hughes Road.

Huy Thauh Tran was arrested Wednesday, December 12.  He lives in Madison.  He is charged with five counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, one count of Theft of property 1st, two counts of Theft of Property 2nd, and two counts of Theft of Property 3rd.

Police say witnesses saw Tran breaking into vehicles at the Madison YMCA, who immediately dialed 911. Madison Police responded and caught Tran on the premises.

Police arrested Tran earlier this year for breaking into vehicles at Dublin Park.  He was out on bond on those cases when he was charged in this latest investigation.

Police say more charges could come.
