Police: Drunk Driver Runs Into Canal At Big Spring Park
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A driver plunged into Huntsville’s Indian Creek Canal overnight.

It happened just afer 2:00 a.m. At the dead end of Spragins Avenue, a driver of a Honda Civic drove over the curb and down a short flight of steps, nosediving into the canal.
According to police, the driver was drunk. He was taken to jail.
John Alexander Vaughn is charged with driving under the influence.
