HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A strong storm system moved through the Tennessee Valley Monday morning bringing rain, wind, and lightning.  Now, expect a major temperature shift.

StormHunter 19 caught video of trees down on Governors Drive and Longwood Drive.  Trees also fell in Madison at the intersection of Eastview Drive and Highland Drive.

As of 8:45 a.m. Monday, Huntsville Utilities still has crews restoring power in parts of Huntsville and Madison.  The large outage in the Bob Wallace, Triana Blvd. and Memorial Parkway area was repaired by 4:48 a.m. this morning.  Lightning damaged a pole on 5th Street, causing the outage, according to Huntsville Utilities spokesperson Bill Yell.
