Tanner Learns From Last Year

Tanner, Ala. (WHNT) – As the Rattlers return to the Super Six, they’re hoping history doesn’t repeat itself.

In 2011, Tanner had a touchdown lead over Elba, but the Tigers responded with 27 unanswered points.  Elba outrushed Tanner by 162 yards while the Rattler passing game completed just two throws for 23 yards.

Fast forward to this year.  Tanner is averaging a margin of victory of almost 40 points this season.  As they get ready to face Washington County at 3:00 PM from Jordan-Hare Stadium, the Rattlers say one of the lessons learned from last year is taking this last contest seriously.
